was supposed to be at Boozle by 2 to meet up with the people from Photo Finish and to help out. when we got there we had asked someone for directions because we were supposed to meet up somewhere, but they ended up giving us shitty directions. we basically walked around the entire stadium before landing back to where we started and asking a different security person. about 2 30/2 40 we made it to where we needed to go. spent an hour or so putting together posters and then hanging them up. which, as we were hanging them up some security dude yelled at us because we didnt have passes and was like, if i catch you without em again, i’m kicking you out! so that was fun. then we just had some chill time before we had to go hand out fliers where the entrance was. best part about working there? didn’t have to use the porta potties :) anywho! after passing out fliers we had some more time to kill because they didn’t really need us at the tent so we hung out and went to go see a local band, that was actually really good! left their set about half way to go see Forever The Sickest Kids. then left their set to go back to the tent for a bit.
I had asked to go see Mayday Parade, so once 7 20 came around, we were gone to see them. because they were on the same time as The Downtown Fiction, we left about half way through their set to see TDF. ps, while we were seeing Mayday, Liz Lee walked right by us and everyone around started flipping a shit. not even kidding. both were super good. then we headed back to the tent just in time to hear The Ready Set. the Photo Finish booth was right by the main stage so we didn’t even need to leave it to see him perform. same for LMFAO, who went on right after. ended up missing 30 Seconds To Mars, but that was because they didn’t go on, on time and my parents were such assholes. got yelled at for staying out too late. really? i’m 18. i can’t stay at a fuckin show til past 10 30? seriously, i can’t stand my parents some times. i need to get the fuck out of here.
but again, for the most part, today was amazing. might i also add that the tent next to us was the guitarist of Boys Like Girls. so that was awesome too :)
