Premiere:: “Say My Name” - Douglas ★ Warren
Sometimes the last places we’d ever want to be lead us to where we need to go. For vocalist Chris Douglas Keller, Brooklyn seemed like it had become home. After tragedy struck, Keller uprooted his life in the Big Apple, heading back to home in Illinois and began creating music under the moniker Douglas ★ Warren. On his new single “Say My Name,” Keller pleads to the city he had to leave behind. “I had to move back to Illinois to recover,” he says, “it isn’t only remembering something special from my point of view, but asking something special from a city I shared such a bond with.” Keller tells us this is one of the most honest songs he has ever written, and this honesty presents itself in the true emotion ringing through.
