I’ve said it time and time again: i LOVE covers. Compilation albums usually only have a few songs I enjoy, never all of them. However, I think this album is pretty solid. It’s always interesting to see how each artist makes the song their own, and every artist on this album did just that. None of the songs sound like the original, which I think is definitely a plus.
You can definitely hear how each artist made each song their own. You’ve got a great take on Adele’s Rolling In The Deep by Go Radio, Mod Sun’s collab with The Ready Set on Roll Up, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk’s twist on a Ke$ha song, Silverstein’s great take on Kanye’s Runaway, and one of my favorites, The Downtown Fiction’s cover of Super Bass.
