so i was looking through the general store for the All Time Low street team and saw this. sooo tempted to get it, but i only have about half of the credits i need to get it, so waiting til they post more orders so i can get this.

unless they post a better shirt by the time i have enough credits, but i really want a new summer tank top. and i’m digging this one.

i can’t even begin to say how much i love this band. i’ve been a fan since ‘07 and everytime i hear a song of theirs i can’t help but smile and sing along. when i was on stickam the other day i was talking to someone about them(sorry, i can’t remember your tumblr name, but reply to this post and i’ll link your page here! :] ) and how much shit people are talking about this new album. everyone is making this huge ordeal about Dirty Work and how horrible it’s going to sound. first off, they’ve released one song off the album. two, if you count Time Bomb, which i honestly think is fucking amazing. we all have our own opinions on everything in life, so do not take this as me shoving my words down your throat. it’s me stating my opinion.

everyone needs to stop talking shit about this album until they actually hear it. to stop complaining that the album art is horrible and unoriginal because it has them on it. that in itself is different and original because they’re basing the album art and all of the pictures inside of the case with the title of the album and turning it into a theme: dirty work. simple enough. don’t judge the sound of the album on what the album art is. judge the album by it’s sound. you have no idea if the album is even any good or not since it’s not released yet.

another thing on here is a bunch of people are saying how All Time Low doesn’t sound like themselves anymore. how different they sound from Put Up or Shut Up to Dirty Work. no shit. it’s been what…5 years?..since that album came out? obviously their sound has changed. they’ve established a sound that suits them. i agree that Put Up or Shut Up is one of, if not their best, album they’ve released. but you can’t compare this new album to that one just over hearing I Feel Like Dancing, which if you’ve heard Alex’s interview on the Guns Show he says how that song is purposely supposed to be a joke. DONT TAKE IT SO FUCKING SERIOUSLY. Alex said how this album is Nothing Personal on crack. i’m so fucking excited to hear these new songs. this band means a lot to me. more than probably any fucking band out there and to hear people say all this shit about them just because of one song off the album they haven’t even heard yet is ridiculous. if you don’t like them, fine. if you don’t like that song, fine. but don’t make that the reason you won’t listen to the rest of the album and bullshit it. wait until it’s released, give it a listen, and THEN if you really hate it that much, go on and say whatever your little heart desires. but until then, don’t say you hate their album and their ‘new’ sound. they’re still the same 4 guys that have been making music for the past 5 or so years. and their music still has the same effect on me: it leaves a smile on my face every fuckin time.

decided to look up ATL’s intro for this tour. i always think those are the coolest. it’s when they get everyone pumped…yeah, i just love it.
