so! not much news today. BUT i did email about more interviews. confirmed & sent out an interview for Cady Groves which i put together with one of my bestest friends Nicole(aka Nikki D). she’s gonna be helping more with interviews. as Boys Like Girls say, two is better than one. so maybe it’ll help! i also emailed about doing an interview with My Genuine Find and for the first time, doing an interview face to face, with Stereo Skyline since we’ll be seeing them at the end of next month. waiting on responses but i don’t mind waiting to get a response. i’m excited to possibly have the opportunity to interview them.

hey folks! so today’s been another slow day of updates. the only real news was the Fearless Friends Tour, which i’m super excited about! i can’t wait to find out when the dates are posted! besides that i haven’t really done much today. these blogs are starting to become more like a daily diary of what i do haha. hope you all don’t mind it :)

so what did i do today? well apparently our dryer broke so i walked into our bathroom and felt like i walked into a closet because there were clothes hanging on hangers just about everywhere in there. it was pretty hilarious. besides that…the only real thing i did was paint a bit which you can click here and check out the painting i did today. i was so bored but it came out really cool. i also started making plans to hang out with my friends! i haven’t hung out with my friends since the boozle roadshow and that was almost 3 weeks ago. thats upsetting. but i go on vacation sunday(which btw, i now have 96 followers! 4 shy of 100 which is the goal by Saturday night! help me out if you can please <3 ) and i’ll be gone for a week and a half. so we’re making plans for after that! planning a tie-dying day at my friend’s & toasting marshmallows! to be honest, i’m really looking forward to be able to hang out with my friends. i miss em. also planning on going to the mall the day of the Stuck On Repeat tour! for those of you that don’t know, Stereo Skyline is doing a performance at the mall earlier that day for the ‘Shop Til U Rock’ thing. so we’re trying to time everything right because the mall thing is from 1-6 but they perform at 4 and the show that night is at 6 30 but the doors open at 6. and The Downtown Fiction is first, so we will NOT be missing that! so right now it’s all just talk. gotta wait and see how it plays out.

on a side note! i’m really starting to dread sleep like no other. i’ve mentioned why so many times that i feel like i shouldn’t be complaining anymore or even bringing it up. but i can’t help it. last night i went to sleep at 4 30, laying in bed for a good 2-3 hours unable to sleep. it’s honestly getting ridiculously annoying. on top of that, my anxiety started to kick in a bit. at the moment its 12 35 even though it feels like its 9 o clock. gonna turn off the computer and try sleep even earlier tonight. however, i’m on AIM on the cellular. so if you wanna chat or anything feel free to IM or @reply LoserfaceLucy

“ATP: Album number four, what is the update?
Alex: We’re about 60-63% finished with it. It’s good, we’ve got a bunch of songs done; Matt Squire, John Field and Mike Green are working on the record. It’s like a powerhouse in producers.

ATP: What’s left to do?
Alex: Just a couple more songs to finish up; four songs left to record, for the rest of July. Everything is ready to go, we just need to put it on CD.

ATP: How would you compare it to ‘Nothing Personal’?
Alex: A lot of growth; we learnt from the good and bad elements of the last record. We took that into the new project, kept in mind what we liked and didn’t like. We have this box in which we can function. Within it, we can move around and explore different aspects, through our albums etc.; each time we do, the box gets bigger. "

okay, what is up with these amazing shows!? like seriously!

alright, the Stuck on Repeat tour is Stereo Skyline, Cash Cash, The Audition, Cady Groves, and The Downtown Fiction! i’ve been waiting for over a year to see The Downtown Fiction. so i’m beyond excited. & i’ve seen Stereo Skyline 4 other times, Cash Cash 3 other times and Cady Groves 1 other time. on the same exact day of their show at the School of Rock, theres a show at The Loft in NY with The Best Week Ever, Stay, You Me & Everyone We Know, Weatherstar, and a few other bands. The Best Week Ever is a really good band from NY. YMAEWK is a great band i wish i could go see! and Stay & Weatherstar, i’ve seen/met & run both their NJ street teams! however, i already bought my ticket for the Stuck on Repeat tour, so that’s where i’ll be that day.

then there’s All Time Low’s fall tour which apparently A Rocket To The Moon is going to be joining. if they come close to me and the prices are reasonable, i’m sooo going to that too! there’s also the KISS tour with The Academy Is… which seems like it should be a pretty interesting mix, although i won’t be attending that one.THEN there’s the Fearless fall tour thats rumored to be Every Avenue, Mayday Parade, and Breathe Carolina. now i’ve been dying to see Every Avenue for so long! so, same as with the ATL show, if it’s close and reasonable prices, SOO going! and now there’s rumor spreading about Hey Monday, Cartel and The Ready Set touring together! another amazing show!

i think the music industry wants to make us completely broke. i spent over $50 for the Bamboozle Roadshow, spending over $90 for the Jonas Brothers/Demi Lovato, and then $15 for the Stuck on Repeat Tour. as amazing as these shows seem to be, i’m hoping they keep the prices rather low too. i guess only time will tell. we shall see!
