somehow i always have the weirdest dreams. the last one i talked about on here was more of a nightmare than a dream because in it, i witnessed a shooting and it scared the SHIT out of me. last night’s dream was a mixture of terrible and incredible.

the terrible part: the first part of the dream i remember was walking through a hotel and seeing John Oh from the Maine playing to a crowd of people.

went with Allie and Duke to do a little shopping at the commons and then grabbed some Chipotle - 3rd time in 2 weeks. i felt like a fatass. then drove down to grab some Starbucks and have ourselves a little photo shoot, which was…pretty successful haha

after we dropped Allie back home to finish packing, we went to the mall Duke works at - which was an unsuccessful trip for me - and grabbed some Chick Fil A. and then went to her house where i got attacked by mosquitoes(got well over 10 bites on my legs), had smores, and attempted to take light pictures.

besides the fact that my mom loves to yell at me for useless shit at the end of an awesome day like today, i’m in such a good mood. can i just spend every day hanging out with my friends?

Things are looking up, my friends.

You guys that follow my personal blog are also the first to know that Lo Fidelity will be giving 100% of profits and donations to unsigned bands in September. We’re also going to begin to give annual scholarships to people who are interested in pursuing music education. 

THIS is why i absolutely adore Lo Fidelity. seriously…i’d ask to work for them if i lived anywhere remotely close to where they’re located.

I’ve been getting asked this question a lot lately so I thought I’d make a post to help sum it up. My entire life I’ve managed to maintained a smoke, drug, and alcohol free lifestyle for my own personal reasons (you can guess how I got the nickname “Designated Dylan”). Now don’t get it confused, I’m not one of those obnoxious straight edge kids who’s going to force my “morals” down your throat for smoking a cigarette or having a drink. Instead I’d rather put my chosen lifestyle to good use and try to send a fun, positive, non-threatening message to EVERYone, whether you like to party or not. If you like to rage… rage responsibly. There is such a thing as having FUN and being SAFE at the same time. If you’re like me and you’re just not into that stuff, you have no idea how lucky you are. Keep setting a good example and be there for your friends. Everyone loves a DD! Especially one that knows how to hang.

Some tips on how to rage responsibly:

1. Be safe! - Don’t have unprotected sex. ALWAYS use a condom. There’s all kinds of nasty shit floating around out there. Not to mention how easy it is to get pregnant. Everyone thinks it won’t happen to them…until it does.

2. Be smart! - If you’re going to drink, ALWAYS arrange a designated driver if you plan on going anywhere. Also ALWAYS keep an eye on your cup, people are creeps.

3. Be courteous! - Second hand smoke is a first hand killer. If you choose to smoke, be courteous of those around you. Don’t light up in the car without asking and don’t blow smoke in people’s faces… it’s a turn off.

Dylan is probably one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Honestly, he is. When i met him, he was doing tech stuff and merch for The Downtown Fiction while they were on tour with The Summer Set. he was in his own band, but I guess that didn’t work out considering he’s now a part of Artist Vs Poet. Regardless, he’s a great guy all around and i definitely support everything he does. Hopefully one day I’ll get a shirt from his online store. I definitely want to rep ‘rage responsibly’. HELP SPREAD THE WORD! :)
