Tonight Kj and i took a trip to home depot, picked up some supplies, and ventured down to 2nd and roosevelt. Because many fans decided to disrespect, and vandalize (illegally) the M wall, we took action against it. 

Armed with our mini paint brushes and sample paint cans, we set out on this mission, to make the wrong doings of fans, right again. 

With the risks of being caught for “vandalism” by cops, we still thought this was the right thing to do. Many fans have expressed their unhappiness with the fact that people had been writing on the wall and signing their names. We were told by the City of Phoenix, that if people keep trespassing, and vandalizing the wall, they would paint over the entire thing. The last thing we want to see is the M disappear, so we took action to save, and preserve, what is a symbol for all The Manie fans.

We understand if you signed the wall and you are upset but you must understand that by you signing it, people would never get to see it. We could not let the City take something so important to all of us away because of vandalism and graffiti. 

We would like to ask ALL future visitors of the wall to refrain from signing it. Please, we don’t want to lose this forever.

i understand that writing on the wall is kind of a cool thing because when the band actually goes back, they can see how people from all over have traveled to just see it and leave their mark. i do have to say though, i think these guys did the right thing. by covering over the ‘graffiti’, there’s less of a chance of the wall being taken down.

the band has rights to the M on the wall, but the city can so easily take it away from them. i’ll also admit that i was never crazy about the writing because i think the M logo is The Maine’s way of leaving their mark. i don’t think other people have the right to write on the wall just because they feel like it.

one place that i’m dying to visit one day is the M wall, but i want to see it just how the guys left it. i don’t care to see other people’s marks because they have no symbolic meaning in my life. the guys do. so even though this is a highly debatable argument, i think the people that covered the writing did the right thing. personal opinion. they don’t deserve hate for trying to save it.

random time.

i CANNOT wait for October/November.

the new iPhone is supposed to be announced next week and hopefully should be out a couple weeks after. and since Sprint is going to be carrying it, i’m finally going to be upgrading my phone to it.

on Halloween, i take my driving test for my license, i have my music mid term, and my camera gets shipped out. i also need to call to order my insurance for my camera that day because they wanted to charge me 2 months in advance - idiots.

Set It Off just announced a tour with City Lights(dates will be posted after this post) and it’s about a week after i get my new camera. SO. i’m going to try and drag some friends out with me to see them because it’s near my school. and once i find out if it’s definite that i’m going, i’m planning on contacting Set It Off’s publicist to work out an in person interview.

seriously. this is going to be SO great.

i spent most of my free time yesterday reading or editing A Clever Con’s interview. today i spent most of my free time reading and doing homework. i finished my Mythology homework about an hour ago. i still have to study for tomorrows Myth quiz. yayyyyy! -_-

gonna do a little bit more reading while listening to music. in a super weird mood. start a conversation and maybe i’ll feel better? worth a shot.
